Pool Repair in Coppell, TX

When a pump will not prime, filter pressure will not settle, or a heater will not fire, that is a repair visit in Coppell. Coppell sits in the northwest corner of Dallas County, and a small part of the far north is in Denton County. Lucent Pools comes to the house, diagnoses the pad, and quotes the repair after that visit.

Where we work in Coppell

Coppell borders Lewisville, Grapevine, Carrollton, and Irving, next to DFW Airport. We come to your property anywhere in the city.

Equipment we repair on the pad

On a Coppell pad we repair and replace filter pumps, booster pumps, pump motors, and seals. We also service cartridge, DE, and sand filters, including a grid or sand media when a cleaning will not restore pressure. For heaters and heat pumps, including common Jandy, Raypak, and Rheem units, we check flow, the gas or electrical supply, and the unit. A heater that will not fire is sometimes a pump, filter, or valve flow problem, so the diagnosis covers the whole pad. Automation work covers timers, actuators, and control panels. We repair manifolds, plumbing, unions, and valves when they are the fault. A dark light can be a failed bulb, gasket, niche fixture, or the power feed. We also repair salt cells and other sanitizer parts. We service and repair all pool equipment brands, including Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward. We are an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station and can also help with Pentair and Hayward warranty claims.

Pad leaks and plumbing leaks

A falling waterline often shows at a pump seal, a valve, a filter tank, a heater fitting, or a union. You can separate evaporation before you call. Fill a bucket with pool water, set it on a step, and tick the water inside the bucket and the waterline on the pool. Read both marks after a day or two, and ignore a stretch with rain or splash-out. When the pool mark falls farther, evaporation does not explain the loss. We repair the pad fittings we find. A leak in underground plumbing or the shell may take more than a look at the pad. The photos on this page are a suction-line repair: the pump strainer lid and the union under it, then the same lid after new PVC went in below the union.

After the equipment runs again

Once the equipment runs, a Coppell pool may still need a weekly visit. That work is residential pool maintenance, a separate schedule from a repair call. If the plaster, the tile, or the deck is what failed, pool remodeling is the next conversation. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday closed. Sunday closed. Lucent Pools has 25+ years of experience with this equipment. Family and veteran owned. Call 817-339-6770 and we repair the same day or next day when parts and schedule allow.

Frequently asked questions

Which equipment do you repair in Coppell?

We come for a filter pump, a booster pump, a motor, or a seal, and for a cartridge, DE, or sand filter, a heater or heat pump, automation, a manifold, plumbing, valves, a light, or a salt system. The pool repairs page has that list written out.

Do you repair and replace Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward equipment?

Yes. We repair all major brands, including Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward. If a repair will do the job, we fix the equipment you have. When something needs replacing, we usually recommend Jandy. As a Jandy ProEdge builder and dealer and an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station, we can give you a 3-year warranty on new Jandy equipment. The choice is always yours, though. If you'd rather stay with your current brand, we'll supply and install that instead.

How do you tell a pad leak from a plumbing leak?

Tick a bucket of pool water against the pool over a day or two, and set aside rain and splash-out. If the pool loses more than the bucket, look first at seals, valves, the filter tank, heater fittings, and unions. Past those fittings, a buried line, the shell, a skimmer, or a light niche needs a closer look.

Do you repair Jandy, Raypak, and Rheem heaters in Coppell?

Yes. We diagnose gas heaters and heat pumps, including common Jandy, Raypak, and Rheem units. We check flow, the gas or electrical supply, and the unit. We say when replacement is the right call. The quote follows that diagnosis.

Do I need to bring the equipment to you?

No. We come to your property and diagnose the equipment on the pad. Call 817-339-6770, describe what the pool is doing, and we will confirm the visit.

What days can I schedule service?

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday closed. Sunday closed. Call 817-339-6770 or use the contact page to set the visit.

How do I get a quote for pool repair in Coppell?

Call 817-339-6770 for a quote. Our standard rates are on the pool repairs page.

What is covered under the repair warranty?

Repair workmanship is covered for 90 days. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty, and new Jandy equipment we install carries a 3-year warranty through our Jandy ProEdge status.
