Pool Repair in Southlake, TX
A Southlake visit starts by finding the part that failed: a pump that will not prime, a heater that shuts off, an automation panel that skips its schedule, or an in-ground spa that will not hold temperature. We repair in-ground pools and in-ground spas. We do not repair portable hot tubs. Lucent Pools diagnoses the equipment before we recommend a replacement.
Call 817-339-6770What the visit starts with
A pump that will not prime, a heater that shuts off, a dark light niche, or a pool that loses water can all look like a job for new equipment. The fault is often a seal, a valve, a salt cell, a gasket, or a controller setting. We start on the equipment pad. We check the pump and motor, including booster pumps, the filter, the heater or heat pump, the automation and actuators, the valves and manifold, the lights, and the salt system or other sanitizer. We service and repair all pool equipment brands, including Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward. We are an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station and can also help with Pentair and Hayward warranty claims.
An in-ground spa, a waterfall, and the valves between them
A backyard that runs a pool and an in-ground spa, or a pool and a waterfall or sheer descent, has more valves and actuators than a single-body pool. The controller has to send each one to the right position. When a schedule skips, a valve stays put, or the in-ground spa will not isolate from the pool, we diagnose the automation on site. We check timers, control panels, and actuators. We restore the control you already have before we recommend a new panel.
Roads into Southlake
Southlake sits in northeast Tarrant County, with a small part of the city in Denton County. Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, Westlake, and Trophy Club border it. We reach houses from State Highway 114, from FM 1709, also called Southlake Boulevard, and from Carroll Avenue. We come to your property. If your address is inside Southlake, call and we will confirm the visit.
Leaks, heaters, and lights
A pool that needs constant top-offs may be leaking, or the loss may be evaporation and splash from a busy weekend. Leave a bucket of pool water on a step through a quiet stretch, with one mark in the bucket and another on the tile. If the tile mark falls faster, the loss is not just evaporation. Rain and a crowded swim day throw the reading off, so pick a still stretch. The wet spot may be a pump seal, a union, a valve, a filter tank, or a heater fitting you can see, or it may be plumbing, the shell, a skimmer, or a light niche. We tell those apart before the deck is opened. Heater calls include common Jandy, Raypak, and Rheem units. A dark light gets a look at the fixture, the gasket, the niche, and the feed.
When the pad is fine and the surface is not
A seal, a motor, a cell, or a valve is a repair. A rough or chalky interior, stained plaster, loose tile, or coping that has failed is pool remodeling. If the diagnosis shows the surface is the problem, we point you to the pool remodeling page. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday closed. Sunday closed. Lucent Pools has 25+ years of experience on this equipment. Family and veteran owned. Call 817-339-6770, tell us the symptom, and we repair the same day or next day when parts and schedule allow.

Frequently asked questions
What equipment do you repair in Southlake?
We repair a pump or motor, a filter, a heater or heat pump, the valves and panel that move water between the pool and an in-ground spa, the plumbing, a light, or a salt system. We also follow a leak from the pad into the lines. Call 817-339-6770 and name the symptom.
Do you repair and replace Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward equipment?
Yes. We repair all major brands, including Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward. If a repair will do the job, we fix the equipment you have. When something needs replacing, we usually recommend Jandy. As a Jandy ProEdge builder and dealer and an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station, we can give you a 3-year warranty on new Jandy equipment. The choice is always yours, though. If you'd rather stay with your current brand, we'll supply and install that instead.
Can you repair an in-ground spa or a water feature?
Yes, when the fault is in the pump, heater, valves, lighting, or plumbing that serves it. We repair in-ground pools and in-ground spas. We do not repair portable hot tubs. Adding an in-ground spa, a waterfall, or a sheer descent is pool remodeling, and that work is on the pool remodeling page.
How do I know if the pool is leaking?
Pick a quiet stretch and leave a bucket of pool water on a step, marked against the pool. If the pool falls faster than the bucket once rain and a swim day are out of the picture, you likely have a leak. We then split a pad leak from a plumbing or shell leak before the deck is opened.
When should I remodel instead of calling for a repair?
Choose pool remodeling when the interior is rough, stained, or cracking, when tile is falling, or when the coping has failed. Resurfacing, new tile, new coping, and decking are on the pool remodeling page. A failed pump, heater, valve, or salt cell stays a repair.
What hours can I call?
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday closed. Sunday closed. Use the contact page if you want to write instead of calling during those hours.
How do you price a Southlake repair?
Call 817-339-6770 for a quote. Our standard rates are on the pool repairs page.
What is covered under the repair warranty?
Repair workmanship is covered for 90 days. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty, and new Jandy equipment we install carries a 3-year warranty through our Jandy ProEdge status.
