Custom Pool Construction in Dallas–Fort Worth
Inground gunite pools designed and built for the Texas lifestyle.
Lucent Pools designs and builds inground gunite pools across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, from Fort Worth and Arlington to Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Lewisville, and Southlake. We take each pool from concept to completion. Every pool is shaped around your backyard, your house, and how your family uses the space.
A pool built around your backyard, not a template
Our new pool construction process begins with a free on-site consultation where we study your lot, drainage, sun exposure, and how you plan to use the space. From there our designers produce a 3D rendering so you can see the pool before a shovel hits the ground. Using proven materials and variable-speed equipment, we build gunite pools for the Texas climate.
Built for the North Texas climate and soil
Dallas–Fort Worth sits on expansive clay soil that moves with the seasons, and our summers are relentless. We design every pool with these exact conditions in mind: steel-reinforced gunite shells, proper structural footings, and equipment sized to keep water crystal clear through 100-degree Julys. When a project calls for it, we bring in a licensed structural engineer for a stamped design. The result is a pool that stays beautiful and structurally sound for decades.
What goes into a Lucent pool
Every build includes custom 3D design, a finish in pebble, quartz, or polished aggregate, energy-efficient variable-speed pumps, LED color lighting, and your choice of saltwater or traditional chlorination. We can integrate spas, tanning ledges, water features, and full smart-home automation so you can control your pool from your phone.

Your final investment depends on size, finishes, and features. We provide a detailed, transparent quote during your free consultation.

From design approval and permitting to your first swim, most custom pools take about 8 to 12 weeks depending on complexity, weather, and inspection schedules in your city.
