Pool automation won't connect or app is offline

When iAquaLink, ScreenLogic, OmniLogic, or another pool app won't connect, the fault is often Wi‑Fi, a dead outdoor module, a failed power supply, or a panel that lost its network settings. We check power and the wireless path first, restore the link when the hardware is sound, and repair or replace the module when it isn't.

We start at the pad: power, the outdoor module, and the network settings. If the hardware is sound, we restore the link. If the module is dead, we repair or replace it and confirm the app can see the system before we leave.

Control panel dead or unresponsive

A blank or frozen control panel can mean a failed transformer, a board fault, a tripped breaker on the existing circuit, or water in the enclosure. We diagnose on the existing circuits only. We connect or disconnect on circuits you already have, with no new circuits, panel work, trenching, or bonding. We repair the board or power supply when that fixes it, and replace the controller when it won't hold.

Leave the enclosure closed if you see water in it. We find the failed part and tell you whether a board or power supply repair will hold. The work stays on the circuits already at the pad.

Pool timer not working

A timer that won't keep time, won't turn the pump on after a power outage, or runs the wrong hours is usually a failed timer motor, a tripped mechanism, or a programming fault. We test the timer, repair or replace it, and confirm the schedule before we leave.

After a power cut, we set the time, run the pump through one cycle, and confirm the off time. A burned-out timer motor is replaced, and we check that the pump still starts.

Valve actuator stuck or not turning

An actuator that hums, stalls mid-travel, or never moves leaves valves half-open and features dead. Common causes: failed actuator motor, bad cam switches, seized valve, or a controller output that isn't sending. We free or replace the actuator, check the valve, and verify the controller output.

A valve left halfway open can starve the pump or leave a feature dead. We move the actuator by hand and from the controller, then free the valve or replace the actuator and run the feature once.

Schedules wrong or equipment runs at the wrong time

Wrong schedules often mean a panel that lost its clock after a power cut, a mis-set program, or a sensor feeding bad data. We restore the clock and programs, check sensors, and confirm the pump, heater, lights, and valves follow the schedule again.

We put the clock back, walk the programs for the pump, heater, lights, and valves, and watch one cycle. A sensor that reads the wrong temperature is checked on the same visit.

Repair or replace the controller?

Repair first when the board, power supply, actuator, timer, or wireless module can be fixed on a sound system. Replace when the controller is obsolete, boards keep failing, or parts are no longer available. When a controller needs replacing, we usually recommend Jandy, since new Jandy equipment we install carries a 3-year warranty. The choice is yours, and we'll install your current brand if you prefer. We service and repair all pool equipment brands, including Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward. We are an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station and can also help with Pentair and Hayward warranty claims.

Phone and panel control, schedules, and running equipment only when it is needed are in pool equipment upgrades and automation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my pool automation app connect?

Often Wi‑Fi, a dead outdoor module, lost network settings, or a panel without power. We check power and the wireless path, restore the link when the hardware is sound, and repair or replace the module when it isn't. Call 817-339-6770.

Why is my pool control panel dead?

A blank panel can mean a failed transformer, a board fault, a tripped breaker on the existing circuit, or water in the box. We diagnose on your existing circuits, repair what failed, and replace the controller only when a repair won't last. Call 817-339-6770.

Why won't my pool valve actuator turn?

A stuck or humming actuator usually has a failed motor, bad switches, a seized valve, or no signal from the controller. We free or replace the actuator, check the valve, and verify the controller output. Call 817-339-6770.

Do you repair Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward automation?

Yes. We service and repair all pool equipment brands, including Jandy, Pentair, and Hayward. We are an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station and can also help with Pentair and Hayward warranty claims. That includes iAquaLink, EasyTouch, IntelliCenter, ScreenLogic, and OmniLogic systems. Should I repair or replace my pool controller?

Yes, we repair when we can. If a repair will do the job, we fix the equipment you have. When something needs replacing, we usually recommend Jandy. As a Jandy ProEdge builder and dealer and an Authorized Jandy ProEdge Warranty Station, we can give you a 3-year warranty on new Jandy equipment. The choice is always yours, though. If you'd rather stay with your current brand, we'll supply and install that instead.
